
The 19th Annual Artists of the Wall Festival Barefoot in the Sand

The Greenleaf Art Center, The Loyola Park Advisory Council, The Rogers Park Business Alliance in cooperation with the Chicago Park District present the 19th Annual Artists of the Wall Festival, Barefoot in the Sand". The yearly neighborhood celebration will take place on June 16 & 17, 2012 at Loyola Park Beach. The Artists of the Wall Festival brings together neighbors of all ages to collaborate on a 600 foot lakefront mural. The painted wall is accessible for year round viewing. |

Barefoot as a Mermaid, this "Urban Lake Michigan Mermaid" was painted by Niki Nolin, Janet Rooney, Jan Pappas and Kathie Paluch some of the artists from the Greenleaf Art Center. The Art Center, one of the sponsors for the event, supplied logo design, banner and T-shirt art production as well as typesetting and printing of posters and brochures for the festival.

Ed Paschke's personal easels donated to
Greenleaf Art Center
The art center was recently gifted with three of Chicago's primer artist
Ed Paschke's personal easels by Paschke friend and fellow artist Jeffrey
Goldstein. We have gratefully place the well used easels on permanent display
in the Long Hall Gallery. Also donated are a beautiful book "Ed Paschke
a Tribute Show" produced by Jeff Goldstein and members of the Paschke
family plus a photo of Ed and Jeff on a trip they made to Paris.
